Cooler nights, slower mornings… and suddenly your space needs to match the mood.

Autumn always sneaks in like this. One day it’s fine, the next you’re reaching for a blanket and wishing your home felt a little warmer, a little softer, a bit more put together. The good news? You don’t need a full makeover. A few small swaps: better lighting, richer tones, a bit of warmth. And your space feels completely different.

Here’s where to start:

Softer lighting, better nights

Because overhead lights aren’t doing you any favours.

At Freedom, ambient lighting pieces instantly shift the mood. Think table lamps, warm glows, and corners that feel calm instead of harsh.

It’s the kind of change you notice straight away — softer nights, slower evenings, and a space you actually want to wind down in.

MALVERN table lamp is casting a warm glow

Moodier tones

Autumn colours just hit different.

Deep reds, warm browns, olive greens — layering these tones is the easiest way to make your home feel seasonal without overdoing it.

At Nick Scali, bigger pieces like sofas or chairs in richer tones anchor the room and set the vibe.

Then bring it together with cushions, throws, and smaller touches from Pillow Talk — low effort, high impact.

Warmth you’ll actually use

Because it’s officially “do I need a blanket?” season.

Whether it’s an electric heater or just something cosy to throw on, now’s the time to make your space feel warmer.

Check out the Sunbeam Sleep Perfect Quilted Antibacterial Electric Blanket from The Good Guys — or lean into soft throws and layers that make staying in feel better than going out.

It’s not a full refresh… but it feels like one.

Walk through, pick up a few pieces, and let your space shift with the season — warmer, calmer, and a little more you this autumn.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
